Working with the owner, Nancy was a dream not just because she is a coffee addict like myself, but because she trusted the branding process.
The Mays Davis Group is a business coaching firm who specializes in for leadership and personal development. Nancy is passionate about coaching individuals on what the right fit is for their career path. She knew she needed a professional, brand, but also wanted it to feel approachable as she is often referred as “not a typical HR/business coach.”
After sharing a cup of coffee while we completed her branding questionnaire together, I was able to really understand what Nancy envisioned for her brand and get a chance to hear her story. I kept referring to a couple of words that Nancy used when talking about herself and her business. Referencing these keywords are a way that I like to bring the story into my client’s branding.
After playing around with her keywords: classic, timeless, right fit, relaxed, and denim (yes! I said denim), I instantly knew that her branding inspiration would transpire from. I just love the cool, calm and relaxed feeling in her mood board.
After a couple of coffee chats, Nancy and I were able to nail a logo and branding that was the “right fit” for her company, Mays Davis Group.
